An exchanger from SWEP is a safe and reliable choice. Each SWEP BPHE is delivered with full traceability and verified functionality. A SWEP BPHE is approved by leading independent international bodies, such as PED, UL, KHK and CSA.
Full traceability throughout the manufacturing process is one of the conditions for the external approval certificates held by SWEP's exchangers. For SWEP to obtain third-party approvals of its exchangers, all materials used must be certified. All certificates are held on file at SWEP for at least 10 years. For a SWEP customer, this means you can always rely on first-class materials in every exchanger.
SWEP leak- and pressure-tests all exchangers produced, regardless of the model, size and type of connections. The exchangers are leak-tested for both internal and external leakage at pressures higher than the maximum working pressure. The leak and pressure tests are certified, and a test certificate is sent to the customer on request with the exchanger.
The press log that accompanies each manufacturing batch of heat exchangers also contains information about the tool that pressed the plates. Should a problem occur in a batch, it can easily be traced to the press tool used.
